What the site owner prepares
A conveyor tunnel needs a pit and an equipment room. The general arrangement for a full length tunnel sets the pit depth, the equipment room size and the reclaim tank positions; shorter lines scale down.
The full length tunnel runs on 480 V, 3 phase, 60 Hz. The customer supplies the 480 V transformer. Controls take a separate 110 V, 1 phase, 16 A supply, and lighting and ancillary distribution needs 110 / 208 V at 100 A minimum.

Installing a SUNRISE gantry at a depot
A SUNRISE truck and bus gantry needs a concrete lane, an electrical supply, water and compressed air. The chassis wash at the line entrance sits over a reinforced concrete substructure, so that part of the lane is built for it.
Drivers are guided in by 3 inch steel router guide pipes fixed to the concrete floor. A 24 VDC LED traffic light stands at the rail start and another sits on the machine body. A red light means the gantry is running or off; green means it is ready.
Power and water figures rise with optional equipment, water recovery and cold-weather packages. Those are quoted per site.

Questions and answers
- Who supplies the transformer for a full length tunnel?
- The customer supplies the 480 V transformer. Europe Makine's general arrangement sets the supply at 480 V, 3 phase, 60 Hz.
- Can the tunnel be shorter than 121 ft?
- Yes. Standard modules run from 9 to 30 m, and the utilities for a shorter line scale down from the full length figures.
- When are drain requirements set for an ACROBAT 2X bay?
- At the proforma stage. Plant length, between 6.5 and 15 m, is also set per site.
- What does Europe Makine need to quote a SUNRISE gantry?
- The depot layout, the number of vehicles washed per day, the tallest vehicle and the widest vehicle.
